【摘要】:Forresearch,development,andqualitycontrolpurposes,itisadvantageoustodeterminethecompositionofrubbersincured,compoundedproducts.Thistestmethodprovidessuchcompositionanalysisutilizinganinfraredtechnique.1.1Thesetestmethodscoverrubberidentificationandarebasedoninfraredexaminationofpyrolysisproducts(pyrolyzates)andfilms.1.2Thesetestmethodsareapplicabletorubbersintherawstateand,whencompounded,bothinthecuredanduncuredstate.1.3Sinceitiscustomaryininfraredspectrophotometrytousewavenumbers(cmx2212;1)ratherthanHertz(Hz),theunitforfrequencyintheSIsystem,theformerisemployedthroughoutthistestmethod.1.4Thistestmethodassumesthatspecimensandinfraredspectraarepreparedandanalyzedbyexperiencedpersonnelandthattheequipmentisoperatedaccordingtothemanufacturer''sdirectionforoptimumperformance.Nodetailsforoperationofinfraredspectrophotometersareincludedinthistestmethod.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecificprecautionarystatementsaregiveninSection17.
